The Aebi/Coulson collaboration, Sharon Aebi and Robert Coulson, is a partnership born from love. Sharon and Robert not only share a deep love and respect for the idiom of Jazz, but also love and respect for each other. Although coming from very different backgrounds, a chance meeting four years ago, resulted in their marriage a little over three years ago.

Both musicians have extensive experience in playing popular music of the time, and Jazz Standards have always played an important part in their musical lives. Both have achieved musical degrees from universities, as well as having extensive large ensemble experience.

Both musicians played very regularly when they were young, and both took an extended hiatus from playing. When they met some four years ago, both musicians inspired each other to the point, that they now use music as their main livelihood, save the fact that Sharon is also a very talented visual artist. The Aebi/Coulson Jazz Group has the good fortune of playing with some of the areas finest musicians. This outstanding mixture of Jazz and friendship can be experienced on their premiere C.D. release entitled, "Present Moment", Aebi - Coulson and Friends.
